Harnessing the 1930s technological advancement of a Swiss scientist, Dr. Pierre Castan, Ms. Gonzales's kindergartners have created individually unique masterpieces -- receive 6 drink coasters made of sea glass and set in epoxy resin. Each hand-crafted piece showcases the student's artistic sense, finely honed under the tutelage of Art Teacher, Ms. Maude. Drink connoisseurs will note the balance, mix, and beauty of the coasters and the detailing laid out by 22 pairs of tiny hands. The children found inspiration in their own imaginations and motivation when some parents said, "today, we're making coasters out of sea glass." The students of Ms. Gonzales's class raise a glass of milk, 100% juice, or other reasonable, age-appropriate beverage and toast to the generous donors of tonight's auction. Cheers!
